Hi, all,

I'm the official representative for RAKsmart. We are a West Coast based hosting company, with data centers in 2 locations.

Please check out my public profile (http://www.hostloc.com/space-uid-18623.html), with my location & visiting IP addresses info. I'm currently in Las Vegas, (ip address: 72.215.108.245), reviewing a new data center in Las Vegas. Las Vegas has very cheap power, so it's an interesting long term Data Center location to evaluate.

That said, we will be adding a brand new location in San Francisco area.

We may run a special promotion for the new data center.

Hi, Tom,

RAKsmart is moving toward IAAS (Infrastructure As A Service). As such, our Management Platform is being upgraded.

There will be more Automation for our management platform, which will allow 1) Faster Setup time  2) More controls by customer

This NEW MANAGEMENT PLATFORM will be implemented in this new data center. New router/switches, new management software, and new process are all part of our investment for our IAAS direction.

We will share more about it later

We have 2 Data Center locations now: 1) Fremont   2) San Jose

We are adding location #3 in San Francisco Area. We will run a promotion on this new data center soon.

We are visiting Las Vegas, evaluating FUTURE Data Center locations. So, RAKsmart has NO data center in Las Vegas yet.

We will provide Automated Server provisioning & management like SingleHop. www.singlehop.com.
